The new edition of Audi A8L TDI is a comfortable and large cruising sedan. The car has long wheelbase and 20-inch rims, which matches well with its larger physical size. At the front, the A8L with its curved all-LED headlights are instantly recognizable as Audi’s design. In fact, the overall design has aged well and looks rather conservative.
Another nice touch is the panoramic sunroof on its blacked out roof. With its tinted windows, the car would be appropriate for carrying any celebrity and diplomat. The Audi A8L also has automatic rear door sun shades and rear windows.
The interior is equally impressive with sophisticated front seats. They have built-in heating/cooling and massaging features with multiple settings and intensity levels. The Audi MMI infotainment system is among the best in the car industry and it is integrated tightly with Google Maps. However, some users may find the voice recognition capability is still hard to interact with and way too limited. The Audi A8L should cost a hair under $100.000, but the quality of its interior easily backs up the price.
Under the hood, the car is packed with a 3.0-l VDI turbocharged V6 engine, which is rated at 36mpg highway and 24mpg city.
