Aston Martin is widely known for its two-door models like the Vanquish Volante or the DB9. The car maker releases only one sedan model, the Rapide S, which is known for its tremendously sculpted design. It is a car that commands attention from other motorists and pedestrians.
The model of Rapide S looks like an incremental improvement over the release. Much of the interior is covered by buttery soft leather, from the door panels to seats to the dashboard. Obviously, nothing is perfect in this world. The climate control display looks grainy and pixelated; something that we typically saw on decade-old sedans.
The driving position may look a bit confined and narrow, but not quite claustrophobic. Because the windows are a bit too small, the ultrasonic parking sensors and backup do make everything much easier. Given how cramped the passenger accommodation is, it’s fortunate that Aston Martin adds enough space for the luggage area.
Its engine is probably one of the finest in the industry. It hums smoothly like a choir of angels, which encourages drivers to rev it up to make the car, emits a glorious cry. The 550hp V12 engine produces 457 lb-ft torque and it may reach from zero to 100km per hour in less than 5 seconds.
