Lamborghini LP 610-4 Huracan Preview

The Huracan is Lamborghini’s new car named after a famous fighting bull and the LP 610-4 model number refers to the V10 longitudinally-mounted engine. The powerful beast that lurks under the hood is able to feed the 4-wheel drive system with 610PS of power. Although designed, engineered and manufactured from the ground up, we could immediately notice that it is based on the Gallardo, as seen by its conventional door and clean lines. We could also see the Y-shaped daytime lights and full-LED headlamps.

Inside, there is a 12.3-inch TFT full color screen that works as an instrumentation panel; showing drivers speedometer, rev counter, infotainment functions and navigation system. The dashboard and console also have design inspired by fighter jet cockpit layout, while hints of luxury are provided by the Alcantara upholstery and Nappa leather.

The 610hp engine is paired with a smooth 7-speed transmission with dual-clutch configuration. This arrangement allows the Huracan to jump from zero to 100 km per hour in just 3.2 second, capable of reaching up to 325km per hour. The basic model of the Lamborghini Huracan is equipped with carbon ceramic brakes with magnetic suspension and variable steering ratio system as optional extras.
