Nissan has revealed pricing and specs of its new Qashqai. It starts from £17,595 for the basic model (Visia) and up to £27,845 for the top model (Tekna). The Japanese car maker said that despite the improved equipment and quality levels, the prices would be generally in-line with its outgoing models.
The Qashqai range comprises of Tekna, Acenta Premium, Acenta and Visia models. The Tekna offers an enhanced safety kit, latest all-around parking cameras, roof rails, 1-inch allow wheels, automatic headlamp leveling, heated seats, full leather electric, intelligent parking assist, heated windscreen and full leather trim, while the Acenta Premium, brings us the NissanConnect infotainment solution with DAB.
The Acenta counts 17-inch alloy wheel, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlights, interior ambient lighting, luggage board system, high-grade seat fabric and dual-zone climate control among the highlights. The Visia features tyre pressure monitoring, 16-inch steel wheels, heated electric door mirrors, air conditioner, front/side/curtain airbags, stop start system, 5-inch colour high definition display and hill start assist.
For another £495, buyers can add front collision avoidance, high beam assist and traffic sign recognition to the Acenta and Visia models, but these features are standard on Tekna and Acenta Premium models.
